Point inclusion multiple surfaces

Hello all,

I am trying something which involves measuring the number of points across a number of surfaces.

I have a single list of points and a set of surfaces which I want to manipulate based on the number of points contained within. 

I can get a boolean pattern based on whether or not the points are included but am not sure how i can add up the number of TRUE values found for each surface and manipulated them based on that value.

 

Below is a simplified image to describe concepts!

Hey to get the Number of Points you have been on the right way. Use the containment component and dispatch the result with the point-output...

If you work on a pretty high number of surfaces and points, you would perhaps need to take a look at http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/counting-objects-in-regio...

Working only on square regions though.

you could use mass addition (true=1 and false=0, if you use booleans as numbers)
