Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a a poly surface with many sides, I am trying to have all the surface normals be outside, yet some offset inside. Anyone know how to orient them all the same, thanks.

I actually just got it on my own ( I forget about graft sometimes). Thanks

now how can i loft one surface to the other?

Not sure what you mean... Loft the offset surface with the original or create a thickened shell out of your original surface?:

Hey Taz thanks, my problem is more specific than just thickening, I want to play with scaling the offset surface first before extruding, I know what my problem is, just cant seem to solve it, its a data matching problem, I need n=2 (original surface and offset surface) for the loft component but I just cannot get it right. Maybe you can take a look at my definition. All I need help with is the data matching. Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael,

have a look at the attached files.

I don't know if I understand your problem correctly, but I think this is what you want to achieve.

Best,

Martin
