Paneling Issue - Applied to multiple (non U/V divided) surfaces

Hey all-

I have a fairly simple paneling task which isn't working...

I have a series of panels (rectangular, flat) and a set of geometry (panel) that I would like to apply to each instance. I have the ideal 'panel' selected as geometry which I am attempting to apply to each surface via a surface box/morph.

I've done this to single surfaces that were divided into multiple U/V's, but not to a whole host of undivided surfaces. It should be really simple... but it's not working.

See attached. A little help?

Thanks!

2 things:

  • you provide UV 2d domain (0 to 1)x(0 to 1), so you would probably need to reparameterize the surfaces.
  • the surfaces are trimmed, sometimes GH wont deal well with the trim and work on the untrimmed surfaces. To fix this, as your surfaces are simple, just reconstruct them as their own (flat) bounding box.

this question is really random, but where do you get these icons of grasshopper, i only have the ones with names on it ...!

thx, i'm a noob :)
