Problem with Functions within the VB component

In the latest and the one before that, when I use trig functions or even
the abs function, I am getting an error message that they have not been defined.  It still works when I use the function component but not within the VB component.

Many thanks

I just tried with:

A = Math.Sin(x)

into a vb component and it seemed to work fine.
Was wondering why there is now a need to use the 'Math' prefix whereas before it works without it

Many thanks
there have been changes to the vb component...perhaps the scope changed...some things now need less detail of the namespace, others need more. But David would be the person to ask for the specifics of it. In older versions of the vb.net component there were (in my opinion) inconsistencies on things that should have been easy to reference...I feel the newer component is much more intelligent in the autocompletion, etc.
