Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to create a series of commands that I can loop, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it without VB scripting.

right now the commands are:

_move the length of the brep

_rotate off of a point of brep

_move the length of the brep

_rotate off a point... etc.

I tried creating a cluster but it didn't really work.  I used series, and the series will move everything and then rotate everything- but won't create a condition where the move happens relative to the rotation that happened in the step before it.

this is a screen shot of what I'm working on (L4 is a cluster with a brep explode, then list items for each vertice), gh script attached:

thanks!

I´m not shure if it´s the best way to use Hoopsnake, but it works.....

that's pretty amazing... being unfamiliar with hoopsnake, is there a way to collect all of the solutions, or are you limited to one?  I'd like to end up with all of the planes that complete the circle.

thanks so much- that's a really amazing plugin.

Hi Alex,

I´m not really familiar with Hoopsnake, I was just playing around with it.

The best is, you put your question directly to: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/hoopsnake

Best, Peter

thanks- I didn't even know that existed...
