Rhino question

Does anyone ever have this problem I seem to always get it at least somewhere in my models, If you see the actual face of the surface is away from where it should be, and it renders that way as well. The yellow highlighted piece is the "ghosted outline of what the surface should be, yet to the right that gray strip is what rhino is displaying as the solid part of the surface.
