algorithmic modeling for Rhino

can't morph surface

Hi, I've created a surface and now I want to morph some things on it, but I can't divide the surface, so I can't create morph boxes... I've read that it's because it's an open brep instead of a surface, cause it's made out of polylines, but isn't it possible to morph something onto an open brep? I would like to keep the polylines and not convert them to curves.

I've also tried to convert the polylines to curves with something like a hundred control points, so it really matches the polylines, but even with planar curves as input, the loft command creates an open brep...
