Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi. I am trying to divide a planar hexagonal surface in
equal lengths so that one point from each division can follow an attractor. I
already got most of it done, but my problem is that using domain divide and
isosurface I obtain a divided surface that goes beyond the boundaries of the
hexagon, contained within a rectangle.

Pretty much what I want to do is decompose the hexagon in
segments contained within the hexagon.

I attach pictures of the result and my definition.

the planar srf from the hexagon curve is just a rectangular plane with trim... you can use trim inclusion to test the points inside the hexagon, but i think that you are looking for something like this:

i just work with curves.. not surfaces.

If you want surfaces to use the isotrim, try this:

Thanks a lot, Manuel! Let me try it out and f I have any more doubts, I'll ask around.
