algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a surface (non-planar) with a hexagonal pattern projected onto it, but shape is really irrelevant.

I would like to trim the hexagonal regions of the surface off. Is this possible from within GH and how would i go about it?

Thank you!

Well some progress using Surface Split.

Problem now is that i get a surface per curve trim. So it creates a new surface every time it cuts out an opening.

It does however create a single surface out of just caps.

Is there any way to trim openings out of just one surface using GH?

In picture, i baked the surface split output and moved one of 90 resulting surfaces to show what it does.

Hi Max, did you flatten the projected curves list before putting it into the SrfSplit?
