Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I have two Boolean True/False toggles leading into two Pick 'n Choose functions:

Choose A or B, then choose (A or B) or C.

A has one object, B has two, C has three objects.

Whichever way I wire this - original object sets, flatten, graft, or a combination - GH never gives simply the result of (A as one object), (B as two objects), or (C as three objects). It either multiplies them (such as getting three A's), or reduces them (getting one object in C).

Is there a quick way to get A, B, or C as they are? Do you have to make additional Pick ‘n Choose functions with culling branches depending on the results?

In the end, I want to always have the option of flipping the Boolean toggles and getting the correct result.

Sorry - the Grasshopper website is not allowing me to upload screenshots (it never finishes uploading them...)

Thanks

But what for do I need the PicnChoose? I can jump straight after the merge into the listItem? Or?

PicNChoose not necessary.

Thanks.

Thanks Chris,

I had not used the Replace Branch icon before, and it looks like your def would allow me to cull a specific choice. However, looking at the Replace Branch lead me to try another icon, the Stream Filter. This is precisely what I wanted - simply a "Boolean pass-through" function. This is nice and simple for the two choices I want the user to make.
