Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello, people.
i got a question.
i have the possibility to study abroad for a...post university studies? i don't know how to explain it.
whatever
i was wondering what would be the best place, if there is any, to learn more about the grasshopper, instead of self learning. So looking for long term course...1 year or so
where would you go if you could choose?

thanks

http://www.iaac.net ;-) pero si ya eres de España, pues no es muy 'abroad.'

Innsbrook, Delft, Oslo, NYC, etc are all cities with Universities where GH is being taught. There are a bunch more I am sure. What other interests do you want to explore in conjunction with GH?
in conjunction with GH...well, i am "playing" with cnc machines, so that could be my inmediate interest. also the connection between design and solar incidence...parametric design itself, being able to change a parameter and rebuild the solution...
i just wonder how much i am missing
although i am mainly thinking of taking one year of study to really focus on this, as i have only touched the skin...
so i can't really use the GH for my projects unless i control the program.
well why don't you come to Barcelona for training with McNeel? Giulio has training in January and April if I am not mistaken. In three days you will get an excellent start. I would not pay to go to a university just to learn software. You should be prepared when you get there to take your studies to an advanced level.

P.s. at IaaC we have a Fab Lab with many CNC Machines to chose from...also right now we are teaching Designing Associativity (with heavy GH) and Building Performance (with heavy Ecotect and Radiance). There is a one year course starting in October, commencing in June or July.
i am now in Brno. my plans are getting a grant to go abroad to study something...and i was thinking "this" is the thing i want to improve.
so going to a university would be free if i get the grant.
