algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Version 0.8.0051 is now available for download from the usual location.
Note that you need the most recent Microsoft Runtimes to be able to load Grasshopper in Rhino4. You can download the latest runtimes from the Microsoft Website, and be sure to get the 32-bit ones (vcredist_x86.EXE).
This release mainly features bug fixes and small tune-ups. The only major addition is a second solver for Galapagos, modelled on the Simulated Annealing stochastics/meta-heuristics approach.
Here's a full list of new features since 0.8.0050:
And a list of bug fixes:
And as always, let's be careful out there.

You either update all your third-party plugins to GH or contact the third-party developer of that component or uninstall it.

Hi David.
Some (rather trivial) thoughts about the Radial menu:
1. I disable more often than I enable components/previews. Maybe disable should be closest to the centre?
2. With the enable/disable component icons Black=enable and Gray=Disable, but with the preview icons it's the opposite (the blindfolded head is more black). This appears a little inconsistent now that they're placed together.
3. Space bar works great!
(I love the new border-less panning BTW)
how could the content of Solution can display in the toolbars ,waiting reply online
In the current version (0.8.0051) the Solution Button has been removed from the toolbar and placed on a Radial Menu brought up by a middle mouse button click or the space bar. Alternatively you can right click and get a "Legacy" context menu with the same functions.
There is also the Solution Menu along the top of the window and F5 will trigger a recompute.
David is considering making the Toolbar customization so that users can specify which buttons appear
Hi David,
Would it be possible to add "button text" to the middle mouse button radial menu?
I am not always familiar with the icons and it would really help.
When using the space bar, the button text appears, only when keeping MMB on it doesn't.
It would great if any tool could be dragged and dropped to the radial menu or dragged out from it. This would be an easy way to customize it. Maybe it has been suggested already?
Thanks a lot,
Arthur
Hello Sid,

Hope this helps.

Hi David,
Would it be possible to add ctrl+H to turn preview off for components?
Alternatively, could we define alias for GH in the preferences similarly to Rhino Options?
Many thanks,
Arthur
