Kind of Meeting in Berlin?

Hi at all,

I saw that we were several poeple around Berlin. I like to experiment much more with grasshopper and to get feedback, speeking about projects and problems, etc...

How about a regular meeting in a bar or something, once a month ... I guess it speeds up our learning an working skills a lot, the forums helps so much, but to see working habits and Ideas of others can expand you're mind so much.....

I just want collect some thoughts of that, and if there are some of you interested we can check for a convinient Date and Place to meet...

i would also be interested in a meeting/workshop. i am a diploma student at rwth aachen where i will be starting up a gh workshop for other students next semester. count me in!!!!!

Hey boys and girls, end of March a meeting is planed, near the koepenicker strasse (gh, vray, tsplines and the usual suspects... after the dmsb (www.design-modelling-symposium-berlin.de) i couldn't leave the idea of doing something like a rhino or gh-user meeting...How sounds that?

I am reviewing some venues today...Keep me posted, too.

Hi Ioannis,

The link is not working. Besides the symposium was last october, right? I went here and cant see anything about 2010. Am I missing something?

I spoke with some of the other guys that are trying to get this rolling, and seems like it would be a good idea to have some meeting this year. Maybe something informal, to get to know each other and try to organize the basics.

In any case lets keep all in touch.

naw he meant that he was inspired by the dmsb.. and that one won't happen again until 2011, at least they said so before we all went home.
I'm all for informal stuff. keep the mails rolling in..

The idea of the DMSB (former 3d-Modelling-Symposium) is to establish it as a bi-annual event. Thus you wont find anything for 2010. Coming up is Vienna con Senior Pottmann with a more 'mathematical' approach.

It is time to do a Rhino User meeting or similar as Berlin rocks in every aspect.

What do you mean by get this rolling?

Hi Ioannis,

So far what I understood is that we want to have a GH berlin users meeting. Its not anything like DMSB or SMC. As But Why said, the scope of our meeting is grassroots, in the way that we want to have a place to share ideas and learn form the others, in an informal atmosphere. Ben and But Why suggested that they could try to get a classroom at the TU, and I suggested that it could be nice to have our first initial meeting this year. So, you see we are just a bunch of people with some spare time that want to meet other people with spare time and similar ideas. ;)
