you can't really if you think about it...you need the relationship with the original component in order to make the move make sense.

You can turn the preview off of the original component by various methods. Select the component you want to hide, right click, and click on 'Preview' ... same can happen by selecting the component(s) and clicking on the guy with a blindfold on the toolbar...same can happen by selecting the component(s) and hitting ctrl+shift+q...same can happen by using the menus...
