Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have been playing with a few different methods of creating textures with sine cures. I am looking at ways to get more manipulation out of my textures. I would like to produce a fully customizable texture. I have tried some attractors but maybe I am not setting them up properly. These are my source images and the most promising function I have created so far.

All suggestions and information is welcome.

Well thanks
I have been working on a definition similar to this.  It basically makes sine curves (in XY or also in Z) based on an input curve of whatever shape.  I haven't built in attractors yet, but suppose I could look into it.  Right now, it very closely mimics the Rapid Texture tool in Enroute which I have linked to before.

there might lie an answer where the first two images came from...
