algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I want to create a polygon from a point on a line (as a center of polygon) which will always be perpendicular to that line (the polygon plane will always be perpendicular to that line).

 

how to do this?

curve->division->perpendicular frames will do that.  Then place a polygon in that frame, (p input of polygon component).

So what "Perpendicular frames" component does, is create the perpendicular planes, on which then I can put my polygons, circles...?

Maybe my understanding of translation of the English word "frame" is not good, as it reminds me of some sort of a polygon. But instead of this it is in fact the "plane", what are we talking about, doesn`t it? Or I am wrong?

Yes, that is what I was referring to.

As i understand it, the "frame" is just a visual representation of a "Plane".  You can adjust the display of a plane in GH from the VIEW menu->Plane Radius.

fantastic definition you have there. Too bad I do not understand it, as I am not using using View->Draw Icons :(

Yes the items really are not cool, but I am still a beginner, and I am reading "Primer Grasshopper.pdf" which has a View->Draw Icons turned off :(
