Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I am currently working on a project where i select the building closest to a point. I then scale the building up. How would i be able to make the building scale upwards from the base and not the midpoint.

Also, i am currently using an MD slider to move my reactor point around a surface. Is there a way select the location of my point directly to a specific building?

I have made lots of progress with my project with the help of this forum. I appreciate all your help.

Best,

Mike

If you are trying to scale in only the z direction you'll need to use the ScaleNU comp. You'll also have to create a plane to scale from at the base of the "building" you could do this by manually placing a point at the base of the building and using that to create your plane if the building in in rhino or you will need to use a brep wireframe to get the edge and then cull out the appropriate start point from there.
