Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi David.  A few bugs that are still in 8.0007:

1.  Point parameters won't bake with the egg icon, though they will through the context menu.

2.  Any paste of geometry into Rhino causes a complete solution rebuild in Grasshopper, even if geometry is unassociated with the definition.  Is this intended for some reason?

3.  I think this has been brought up before,  but even the largest titlin' text tag is too small to be read with some displays.  Any chance of size options, or some other fix?

Thanks much, and any luck tracking down the 64bit superbug yet?

2. Looking into it.

3. this is a bug in the text-rendering function in Rhino. At the moment I cannot control the size of displayed text at all.

Thanks, David. And thank you for the link, Danny, I missed that text tag discussion when I searched.

2. I can't repeat this at all. Can you please post a file where this is the case. Also, is this Rhino4, 5 or both?

I can't add files in Ning discussions (or reply to specific posts) on firefox or ie, so I posted files here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/paste-bug-files

It's a little trickier than I thought, but the bug is in both V4 and 5. I believe it requires processing on geometry that is referenced. Moving the wires to the non-referenced geometry and pasting anything into Rhino doesn't cause recalculation.
Didn't realize the offset bug got even worse and happened to use it in this example. It's not necessary and can be disabled and bypassed.
David, did you get a chance to check out the paste situation as described? I believe it's still present in the latest version.

Yes, I can repeat it. I'll fix it.

Fixed. It also happened when a file was imported into the current Rhino document.
