algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have yet to play around with Kangaroo but I'm working on something involving tensile strings and their interaction and I'm wondering if Kangaroo could simulate this. Can anyone advise? Has anyone seen anything like this?

Yes, you can specify springs by setting two points to be spring. This will be pure tension simulation.

In cases where catenary 'strings' are desired. You need a more sophisticated simulation, but also possible.

but when the strings collide, will they detect each other? that's what I'm after

OH!!!!

you seems to be developing something same with me.

i have just made one proxy example to do this.

and the next step is to make a string like GW.jpg to simulate a real solid string and find some easier way to figure it out.

don't know will it work yet.
