algorithmic modeling for Rhino

subdividing flat trimmed surface

Hi,

is there a way to subdivide (U/V) a simple flat trimmed surface into many subsurfaces?

right now the subsurface (isotrim) component always considers the untrimmed surface rather than the trimmed one...

rebuilding or shrinking does not help.

any ideas?

Have you tried "Brep Components" and recreating the surface with the resulting edge curves using "Edge Surface"?

don't think that would work with more than 4 edges though ....
