algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Example Voronoi, SrfSplit split surface with big tolerance.

Hi,

I have request from few person about Voronoi Example.

Please find the attached files. 

 

I have one question about my GH definition.

I tried to join, Split surface with Mapsurfed curves, however edge tolerance is rather big and could not join.

Is this issue came from SplitSrf or MapSurf component? Is this bug or design specification? Please let me know if somebody have good solution or David's issue?

After a few experimentations, it looks like the Mapsurf component is faulty.

After having projected the mapped curves on surface, it looks like it works lot better.

So the fix would be: Mapsurf like before, then decide a projection direction (by example the line between the centers of your inside and outside curves), project the mapped curve on surface, use these curves to split and loft.

The middle loft profile curve should be fixed too, or the loft may seem weird.

Thank you. I will try with using project component and upload fixed GH definition later.

Using project component looks good, it has no join problems.

However some modeling cannot cover by Grasshopper, complex use with Rhino and GH is practical way.
