algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Got surface, need mullions (or how to connect extracted profile points?).

Hello again-

I'm working on an organic form, with the intent of extracting a series of profiles at several elevations and then connecting each with lines (later to become mullions) oriented vertically. I have no problem generating the form (lofted geometry), nor creating the section lines that would establish points for mullions... I just can't seem to connect each point to those above with a line/curve/etc.

I can see two ways of doing this, neither of which I can get to work.

1)
Evaluate the lofted surface for U,V points and then connect each point to its' brothers/sisters above.

2) Cut a series of sections (in XY plane) along the height of the object, segment each curve into a series of points, and then connect each with the corresponding points above.

I've setup a generic file with what I -think- the framework would be. If someone could take a look? I searched for old discussion posts, didn't find what I needed.... Thanks!

I use Luis Fraguada's method from this thread:

It does exactly what you are looking for.
