Chrome/Stainless steel material through Custom Preview in Grasshopper?

Or is it possible to access lets say Flamingo's material settings through GH?

Would be nice if I could preview GH objects as if they were rendered.

Thanks

Hi Theunis,

if you have the RDK installed then you can pick textured materials via the OpenGL preview shader.

I must have missed something big, I have seen the acronym thrown around and have been meaning to ask, what is RDK and how do I install it?
RDK = Renderer Development Kit It's our platform for Render plugins.

Thanks a lot David.
what about AuxPecker materials?
It would be nice to use those instead of the standard openGL shader
which only allows diffuse, specular, transparency, and glossiness.

Oh yes, that would be still interessting for me.

Has someting happened since that time?
