algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I want to connect specific Gridpoints with a curve.

Hey guys,

I am not that into the data-tree stuff and now heading some problems.

I created a square grid that has 16 branches with 16 items each.

Now I would like to connect 4 gridpoints, that are next to each other) with a polyline/curve to get a square or a circle - doesn't matter ( examples are drawn into the attached picture)

I don't know how to isolate those points from each branch.

Hopefully you can help me, or at least give me a hint.  I would appreciate that.

Best Regards

Might be a silly workaround, but would it suffice to just create a square grid (15x15 cells in your case), flatten the cell outlines list, and use the list item to pick the square you want?

I couldn't get the circles to fill the grid all at once but here you can move an individual circle anywhere in the grid.

individual circle could be a first step, but i would like to create circles all over the grid. that means between every 4 gridpoints that are a square.

probably i do have a solution, but i need to test it.

stay tuned

I'm interested to see if you can figure this out.  I've run into this problem before and have never quite figured it out.

Done.

I subdivided a surface - then exploded it into its components and with the vertex points its possible to create those circles with every 4 gridpoints - all over the grid
