algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I have a stupid small problem I am facing while using the random reduce reduce component. I have attached the random reduce component to the list and it gives me desired result. However, I am not beinga ble to find a way to get the both the lists separately. Thats the randomly selected ones and the unselected ones. I am sure there is a way but not being able to find it. Attaching the files. Please help soon!!

Thanks a mil!

HAHA...no worries... thanks!!! :)
love it!:-)

guys....

a step further... i now want to have a pattern with 2 kinds of modules... basically i want one stream of the randomly dispatched modules to have twice the length than the other ones... i tried using NUscale factor but does not reallyw ork..basically the scaled ones need to replace the original ones and also delete the  ones from the other stream which will overlap because of double length. attaching an image for reference if I am not making sense. Hope you guys can help.

Hi Riddhi,

Can you post the latest version of your panelling random ghx to work with?

Also not sure if you missed it but I answered the Replace question you had on the first page.

hey danny... just saw that reply.. thanks a ton for that..also i realised that i dont need the replace component at all..it works if i just connect the integer to dispatch... anyways attaching latest ghx... hope you can help with it...

Also...one more doubt... need to have a gap between the components widthwise... as in 1200 wide component with 300 gap..so 1500 c/c... here also i tried NU scale component but its scales teh whole facade from one base point and does not maintain original position of modules... hope m not asking too many things... but trying to build a facade of building under construction in office... :)
Hi Riddhi, a partial solution:

hey pieter..

thanks a mil.. but what is that component between the area component and plane input..cant seem to find it... thanks again!

It's the Plane Origin, in the vector tab.

:( :( i dont have that...will the 'plane normal' one work???

And the repeat components are needed coz otherwise itw orks only for odd number of modules in the z axis... if they become even.. they dont alternate!
