Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I am exploring a bit parametric modeling.

I drew a poly line and filleted the edge

I drew a new connected line, joined both and filleted that edge.

I drew a new 3rd line connected line, joined and filleted the edge.

However it seems once I round the first corner, and round than the second corner
also the first corner is being affected.

In the image you can also see some issues with the curves getting crazy.

Any suggestions or different approach?

Are you trying to fillet each corner with a different distance? If you're just trying to fillet all of the corners with the same radius... you could just join all of your curves together into 1 polyline curve using the Join Curve component... and then fillet that curve with a single fillet component. See that attached image below.

Yes I try to have different distances applied so I can explore proportions
of a water server better instead re-sketching the curve again and again in Rhino.
the fillet corner tool seems to work strange.

when the 2nd element is a curve and the 1th and 3rd are lines
not only does the fillet corner node impact the way how
1 to 2 and 3 to 2 are rounded but it also affects how 2 looks.

Often curves even explode and make following tools fail
such as flip revolve and others.
