Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

i am totally new at grasshopper, and would like to do the following:

- create a panel with loft an curves, the last curve should be modify by an attractor point.

what i did:

- add three curves, from the last one i figured the ControlPoints (CP) out.

- figured 2 points with cullpatern out

- draw a line between the 2 points and the attractorpoint and evaluate the length

- after that i create a new curve, with the modified point

- created a loft, with the 2 curves and the modified one.

that works fine.

what i want:

- add the loft at an divided surface ( the surface i have created, and divided by divide domain)

what should i do, to add the loft to the surface, but not just as a copy of the surface. the added one should also use the attraktorpoint.

I found this tutorial (link), they use boxes to add the surfaceelement on an other surface, but thats just copies oft the element, if i do this my lofted surface will not interact with the attractorpoint.

sorry for my bad english, i hope the picture helps more ;)

You can directly work on the surface.

Have a look at my def.

I tried to adopt your system, but if I connect the Item List with the curve so the curve becomes  flat, the high (z) is missing.
if you could post your ghx it would be easier to help

u are right :)

You will see the problem, if you connect the ItemList with the Curve.

Thx.
