algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I am recently researching performative architecture design , how can galapagos bake each solve model and display in rhino , is there any method for users to choose the prefered one?

Hi Yang,

wouldn't it be an incredible mess if every single solution was baked?

you can go through the generation list and select from the population lists within them to load a particular individual.

Perhaps what would be more useful than a bake command would be the output of an image similar to what is possible with 'animate slider'. Alternatively the ability to write out multiple 3dm files might be useful for some.

while we are on the topic of wishes, the previously mentioned, and desirable ability for Galapagos to have variable genome lengths is ... desired by me :-)

It is a fact that many looking at design work done through computation do not consider any work to have been done at all unless there are billions of images resulting from it.

I've resorted to just taking a screen capture video for now.  I wonder if that's probably good enough for "proof of concept".

You can set up Nicholas de Monchaux’s plugin for Grasshopper called Finches:Local Code to auto- bake/export galapagos outputs into individual rhino files.
