Hi Mohamed,

 

I started developing some work to enable generation of layout/planning date as described here:

http://geometrygym.blogspot.com/2011/02/ifc-generating-quantity-mea... using IFC.

 

 

Lot's of scope for improving it if you have further ideas or suggestions.  I have recently made some improvements which will allow for easier generic summaries of model data for a start  (such as bill of materials for structure models but can be used for other assessments).

in fact i was trying to contact you regarding this feature when i found our post 

i have an enquiry about this system. but i think i will try it first 

brilliant work and it is very promising
