grasshopper not running in RhinoV5.0 24mar2011beta version

Help, my laptop is crashing more frequently & I am trying to get RhinoV5.0 running with grasshopper on my backup desktop.  I have installed my licensed copy of Rhino4.0 on the desktop, run it, updated it, installed grasshopper, it runs fine in V4.0. I installed Rhino5.0, in which I have the model & definition for this project I'm working on, but grasshopper V5.0 does not recognize the "Grasshoppper" command.  I've tried shutting down all running Rhino program, then installed grasshopper, latest version, restarted computer, restart rhino5, . . . nothing.  Any ideas?  I'm at a loss.

When I first installed V5.0 on my crashing laptop, I had to do something with the rhino license manager but cannot find those instructions now.  Might this be the problem?
