Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Need help to create a 3D voronoi mesh from a flat image sampler

Hi, i am trying to learn grasshopper and rhino for a school project.

I would like to create a cube with a mesh structure that when you look at it from one perspective you see an image appear. i will upload my rhino file and a grasshopper file.

I already found how to convert an image to a voronoi and delaunay tessalation, but i dont know how to give that tessalation depth so that you could turn it and see meshes from different sides but if you look at it from one perspective the image will appear. I uploaded also an inspiration picture to give you an idea.

Thank you in advance.

Try this?

Extrudes the shape you want to "see" through the 3D voroni, then pulls points within a certain distance to this shape.

Pretty messy, and could do with culling duplicate lines and fine tuning, but might be a start.

Seems to need a high density to really get the effect though:
