Loft doesn't work like that - it is not smart enough to figure out what to do with the individual curve pieces. You need to give it nice, simple, curves, and you have to connect them to the Loft object in sequential order. The attached file is not correct, but it will hopefully give you a way to see how to tweak your code to make it correct.
I assumed the the flat area on the top is indeed truly flat, and can be made by just whacking off a the proper amount of the lofted surface. The key to a correct design is getting the proper shape for the center curve. I used the Tween object to do this, and then scaled it to get a reasonable thickness for the overall ring. This is not correct because the resulting shape will not be correct when making the flat top. Hopefully you can figure out how to give the center curve the proper shape so you get what you want - Tween will not do that.
Oh, by the way, I saw this on the new forum - suggestion for a 'Sweep3' component that might be helpful here? 'Sweep1' and 'Sweep2' should work here, as I tried to do, but both failed.
