Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Would Grasshopper be better if the workflow was in the vertical axis as opposed to the horizontal?

By default 'component titles' would be readable.

A Mouse wheel scrolls so one could intuitively navigate the layout.

I sense it would be. Many here might suggest a symbol is a solution but I am not so sure. Why did David Rutten and co. go horizontal I wonder?

Ctrl+Alt+Click on any component on the canvas and it'll show you the location on the tabs. Handy for teaching. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Click will save an image with the markers. Handy for making documentation/instructional material.

Thank you!

I should have known that, but sometimes these things get lost ;-)

It is a curious error. In fact we read from top to bottom as well, ending usually in the bottom right hand corner of the page.

might have something to do with the side on which you keep you Gh canvas. In fact, I find that if your canvas on the left reading text is more natural down to up.

it is a common topic for signage as well

and you usually have dimensions going down to up on arch drawings.
