algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Variably Pitched Helix

I'm designing a series of arbor structures and exploring how to parametrically rebuild those I developed manually.  I've explored mapping a helix to the surface with some success (thanks to another forum members insight) but am having difficulty assigning a variable pitch.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
