2D PATTERN !! HEEEELP

Hi guys,

I have to parametrize this pattern, I will show you below the matrix and the way I have to dispose the pattern. The problem is that I have to be able to modify the distance that I highlighted in the picture. Can anyone give me an input, please ?

Doesn't that distance just scale linearly with the size of the pattern?

yes, can you tell me how I can tell to grasshopper that I have to dispose this matrix in the way I showed you? Thank you =)

I'm not sure what "dispose" means, but I can give it a go.

thank u so much!! =) Anyway I mean that if you see the picture with the alternating matrices you can see their centres and they are disposed in an alternated way. I suppose I have to create a grid and tell to grasshopper that every matrix has to be put in a specific point of this grid but I don't know how. =)
