Multiple rectangles with maximum area coverage inside an irregular boundary

The attached file will distribute the rectangle and stop as soon as the area of the individual rectangles - the area of the unioned region is zero, and the area of the rectangles outside the boundary is zero. You can make it work for more rectangles by adding more sliders to the gene pool object.

However it sounds like you could get a much more responsive set up using Kangaroo instead of Galapagos.
