algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys,
I want to create parabolic beams between the two edges of a roof, where there is a transition in the amplitude/curvature of the parabolas from one end of the building to the other. I tried to use graph mapper to do this, so that I could Control this, but I cannot make it work. I can only get the same amplitude/curvature for all the beams.
Hoping you guys can helpt me :)

Hey Jonathan. Thank you very much for the answer. Yes, that's what I want to achieve (just With a reversed parabolic shape). But the thing is that I have to use the two existing line roof lines, and create the beams in between them. I am only able to move the center point of the each beam downward in the same amplitude (move the center point in the z-axis), but I still cannot make a transition from one end of the roof to the other. I tried to use the scaleNU + the series Component to increase the amplitude from the narrow end to the larger end, like in the file that you sent me, but I was not able to make it work.
Best regards,
Gestur
I have grouped the geometry in a red-pink color :)
Hey man, thanks again for replying. Yeah I think might have it there, but I cant seem to figure out what that last Component is? the one that goes into the b input in the subtraction Component. Could you send med the files :)?
See attached, it the flip matrix component.
My man ! Thanks you so much Jonny. You wouldn't believe how much time I spent trying to make this work. Now I have Control over the Whole structure. Here is the whole structure :)
Thanks again Jonny
