Divide curve by preset lengths

Hello, 

I have a list of lengths, that I need to put tail to tip and keep the information of the start and end points. 

The way I am trying to go about this is by adding the lengths together and creating a line, then dividing that line by the initial lengths. 

How would I go about dividing a line by a list of preset lengths? say the line is 10 units long and the list is as follows:

and I need points along that 10 unit line dividing it into those lengths in that order.
