algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Forum,

I've been working on a simple definition to divide a triangle, using divide domain component, but it's not working. Tried divide surface component too. Ineed to compute single subsurfaces, but this is not possible. How could i divide a triangle or an surface without edges? Need your help please.

dividing surfaces operates on the UV domain of a surface, which is a 2D coordinate system and thus basically a warped rectangle. To divide a triangle, you need to construct its subtriangles manually.

here's one example of how to do that, although it's probably unnecessarily convoluted.
