algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Morphing an egg shell form

Hey guys, need some help here. This form looks really easy to model in grasshopper but i just dont know where to start. 

Imagine a having a sphere objects, and wrapping this sort of skins around the object. is it possible to do this? are there any resources that i could look at to make something like this?
