algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Trimming issuse

hi i have a grid system that i want voids in, i was able to change and distort the grid but i am not able to trim the void spaces that i want. Could anyone give me some help? I would like the extrusions to be trimmed for the void space.

I had to use a boolean difference to get the holes (instead of a trim) which meant making your input Brep a solid (ie. adding a cap).  I also pushed the blocks down through the bottom surface to get a good intersection.  Then it was just a matter of turning off a lot of duplicate surfaces that were occluding the view through the holes.

Hopefully none of that disturbed your original intent.
