Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, i know almost nothing about grasshopper and rhino, but i have this feeling that this project could easelly be done with these programs. I have these half elipitical(?) surfaces which i want to transform into a huge bleacher. about 10 (?) curves must have 0.50cm of high and as it goes to the top i want them to softly decrease of high. it is important that the curves always leave from the ellipse, so that when the project is viewed from the front, the ladder does not appear. i dont know with you guys will understand, i have this bad english, but i'll leave here some photos of my project and one photo of the bleacher made by jaja architects. i wanna do the same, but applied to my volume.

i tried this, but i think its not right and i kind have no much clue of what i'm doing

1. how can i do to make the 10 firts curves with 0.50cm of high and make the rest softly decrease?
2. also, for exemplo, make the 10 first steps with width of 1m to 0.50cm and also the rest softly decrease?

i hope you guys really understand my logic. this is a project with deadline. i'm really desperate ))):

Can you upload the 3dm file with the surfaces?

ps. I thought I responded to this discussion, but now I can't see my reply.

yes, you did, but i couldn't do it, now its wonderful
thanks a loooooot!

A little bit more complicated than David's, though doesn't require a surface.

There are two verisons, because your sketches from top and perspective views are in fact different.

Hi, thanks a looooot! i almost cried when i saw what you did, really haha
BUT, that are some things that need your help

1. It is very important that the heights of the steps are accurate. With the graph mapper, I can not place the value of each step accurately. For example, I want to, I do not know, the first 7 steps are 0.50 in height, since this is a comfortable height to sit on. The rest may soften decrease, you see.

2. i'm post 1 photo of sketchs to make you understand this and other things better

btw, the version 2 of the "bleacher" is the PERFECT one, but I need these adjustments

Somehow I cannot reply properly with attachments, I'll post the definition later

I dont have words to say how grateful I'm.
Just for curiosity, this is a library project. On the first floor, I'll have about 5 of this buildings. The inside is a read space and the outside is kind of a big square and people can sit on these volumes. The library, I mean, where the books are, it's underground. So I expect to create this kind of effect down there:
In these images I explain what it's wrong with this definition (:

Anyway, thanks, thanks, thanks. You have no idea how you are helping me! <3
