Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have 239 polysurfaces (blades) that are positioned around a circle, how can I flatten them onto a sheet for laser cutting?

I've attached the script I used - image is the baked geometry (blades) that I want to sort onto a sheet.

Thanks

Hi, for  place on one plane, use "orient" node

It seems to me that there is a component ("unroll brep") in the plugin "lunchbox" that does this

I checked for the plugin

go to :

http://www.food4rhino.com/app/lunchbox#downloads_list

and download   LunchBox 2016.3.21 ZIP  2016-Mar-22 (the first link "LunchBox 2016.3.21" don't work)
The component "unroll brep" would help you, but it is necessary to make a small definition to select the surface to unroll (the largest surface of each geometry)
For nesting, there is the plugin rhinonest but it is paying
