Keyboard shortcut for lock/disable solver

not aware of a hotkey no.. but middle-click brings up the wheel and you can disable the solver there?..

Not super clear on your use case, but if you need to record a single value you can use Data Dam to manually trigger the solution instead. Or alternatively if its a bunch of data being recorder, you can enable/disable the data recorder by clicking on the orange button? (apologies in advance if these are already known solutions)

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. 

But the problem is not with the data recorder, I have to do some test recordings before I bake the final object, however, before doing every test recording I need to lock the solver. There are few more steps i have to follow for every test recording. 

For quick and efficient procedure I was looking for a hotkey for lock/unlock solver.

But thanks for the reply. May be I have to bear with the current procedure.

You can assign a shortcut to the menu item in Preferences:
