Giving the triangluar structure a thickness and a height

Hello all,

After succeeding in making a triangluar structure along a surface I'm now trying to give it a thickness and also a height.
I already tried a few different options like offsetting the surface to then eventually loft the triangluar structure. I'm however not succeeding in giving it a thickness and also a height.

I have added my script as an attachment, hopefully there is someone who knows a solution.

Hey Jelte,

if youre ok with meshes check out the weaverbird and mesh+ libraries. They probably do exactly what you're looking for.

Hey Stefan,

Thanks for helping! I installed mesh+ and weaverbird.
Now I have a follow up question regarding subdivisions in mesh+. The stellate+0 is something I would also like to apply, I tried adding it myself but it isn't working propely. Could it be possible to show me how I add this to my triangluar structure? Thanks in regards!

Oh and also, With the Wbthicken tool I'm able to change the height of the triangluar structure, but with which input or tool can I control the width of the beams in the triangle?
Hopefully you don't mind I ask all these questions, thank you in regards!

this is how to use the components, you can play around with the sliders to get the result you want

beam width is change through the T0 input as a value from 0-1

you can also add a stellate through the frame-component (D input)

I-Input generally specifies which faces of the original mesh to use in mesh+

Thank you! Do you maybe have the Grasshopper file for that?

no but you can rebuild that with the components shown
