algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

Im trying to create a different fillet for the inner/outer corner for an polyline. Now it are just 2 corners but when it works it can be 10 or 15 or 20 etc. Can't find anything on this site which gives me a good answer. Anyone who has an idea?

Thanks!

No code?  Screen shot doesn't show any 'Fillet'?  How do you determine inner vs. outer corners?  Does this give you any ideas?

Hi Joseph thanks for your answer. It is for a stairway. I need to get 1 curve with the different fillets. Corners are defined like above.

Where can i find the Tree/List viewer?

Another post without any code?  And no 'Fillet' in your screen shot?  Try to pick up your game here, brah.  The Tree/List viewer is only a visualization tool.  You can reconstruct the important part from my screen shot, then you just have to understand and use the results.

There might be a better answer than what I suggested but maybe it will get you started in the right direction.

Hi Joseph, thanks again. Hereby some code. The result should be something like this:

1 curve with different corners. I can adjust the number of stairs.

Hi.

I've made this cluster and tested with some open polyline curves. Only works with open planar curve.

If you'd like to apply this to closed curve, then need some modifications at the end corner fillet.

Hi.

I'm not sure how useful it is to apply only to concave and convex corners, but I've made new cluster and now it works on both closed and open curves.

You can apply different radius to every corner easily, so try it yourself if you need to.

Hello Kim,

Really awesome.Thank you very much. Will study the definition! :)

Really, how do you come up with stuff like this? :)
