algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey everyone,

Im currently experimenting with some geometry that creates different surfaces. I was able to grab this def from this forums, but a lot of the resulting colors repeat themselves or dont have a great variation.

How can I create totally different colors based on the list length? No repeated values and the further away from each other the better.

Thanks,

Shynn

How about correcting the wrong parts of your code before you care about coloring?

Great! Thank you!

Whats next?

Next of what?

You already have enough different colors, what else do you want?

If you don't like the color combination at all, then try changing the seed number until you like it.

The seed is changing the order of colors, but not the colors themselves.

I was wondering how more rules could be added into the color possibilities, for example, right now some color values vary from one another by 1 value (255,0,0) and (255,0,1) so thats practically the same color.

Maybe input a minimal variation of 30 units?

Btw shouldnt hue go form 0 to 360? The component seems to just go to 255.

Try whatever until you are satisfied with your taste.
