Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I need to connect "Move" (a line) component to "Curve" component, you can see these in red area. But there is a recursive data and I couldn't solve it. I've tried Hoopsnake lots of times but my abilities are not enough for this. How can I solve this?

Thank you very much in advence.

How many threads has this project taken so far?  What are you trying to accomplish?  Did you explain it in a previous thread?  Except for the redundant 'Area' component I mentioned earlier, it looked like you were "getting there", but where is "there"?

Hoopsnake is useless as far as I'm concerned.  Anemone is great for loops, though I have to wonder if it is really necessary here?

Oh, I see you already had a lesson with Anemone in your thread two weeks ago:

Repeating Operations - Loop
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/repeating-operations-loop

And David helped in your January thread:

Random Walk
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/random-walk

Another similar(?) thread of yours:

Random L Blocks on a Grid
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/random-l-blocks-on-a-grid

And of course, the direct parent of this thread:

To delete points that closest to the curve of a grid
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/to-delete-points-that-clo...

Can't help wondering if all these threads are related somehow?  What's the "big picture"?

Thank you Mr. Holmes. These are all different topics and opened in months. There are also no same questions. I study about randomness on my design project and try different things about randomness, like random walk, random L blocks etc. Big picture is this. Thank you for your help.

I bake "Move" components and then select baked curves to "Curve" component. This is a solution but not efficient. What can I do about this?
