algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Everybody
Im trying to trim a patch surface and apply on it a panel tool.
The problem is: when I connect the trimmed surface to the panel tool the paneling appear on the old patch surface.
I can't find a way to paneling only my new trimmed surface!
Any suggestion?
Thanks a lot!!

Thanks!!!both of you!!!
it works, but this create some problems in the edges triangles, they are cut and so they become a polygons.
if i want only triangles in the shape? maybe i can just delete the edgescutter triangles. How could i do that?
or maybe rebuilt the triangulation on the edges, but i guess it s morde difficult.
Any suggestion?
thanks a lot

Which one do you prefer?
Thanks Kim!
this is better but those triangles in the edges are too small.
I guess i have to change my definition and start from a loft surface and not from a patch.
thanks a lot
Nico
Hey~
Patch is not the real problem. Your patched surface is an "Untrimmed Surface".
The problem is that you cut it with a projected curve and turn it into a "Trimmed Surface".
So, Using other methods like "Loft" won't solve your problem.
Understand.
So how can i turn an untrimmed surface in a surface?
