algorithmic modeling for Rhino

parametric column

I am trying to make a column in grasshopper that has a pedestal, base, shaft and capital all in proportion to each other. we have been asked to use a center box for the pedestal and four lofted circles for the remainder of the column. I am having some trouble getting started as I am very new to grasshopper. Any hints?

Take a look at the attached definition. It's not a super detailed & nice example, but hopefully it will help you.
